Derivative of the linear function

Find the derivative of $f (x) = 5 (x+3)$.

$$f (x) = 5 (x+3) = 5x+15$$

The derivative of a linear function $f (x) =Ax+B$ is equal to $A$. Therefore, $A=5$ and $B=15$, so, $f'(x) = 5$.

$$f'(x)=5$$
