Square root of decimal numbers

Calculate the square root of $a=783,623$.

Since the number of fractional digits is odd, a zero is added at the end, and the root of the number is calculated: $7 83 62 30$.

The result is $\sqrt{7836230}=2799,33$.

The comma is moved two positions to the left, since there are two pairs of decimals, counting the added zero.

And so, $\sqrt{a}=27,99$

$$\sqrt{a}=27,99$$
