The rectangle

Imagine a rectangle with sides of $14$ and $21 \ cm$. Calculate the perimeter and area.

The perimeter is the sum of the sides: $$P=2(14 +21)=70 \ cm$$

The area of the rectangle is: $$A=14\cdot21=294 \ cm^2$$

$$P=70 \ cm$$

$$A=294 \ cm^2$$
