Sets cardinality
The cardinal is the number or amount of elements of a set, it can be a finite or an infinite quantity.
Given a set A, the cardinal of this set is symbolized by means of $|A|$ or $card(A)$.
For instance, if $A$ has $3$ elements, the cardinal is indicated this way: $|A| = 3$.
